BSCI/SA8000 Freelancer Project Manager

Hong Kong based multinational Service company seeks immediately to hire two Project Managers on a Freelancer basis responsible for oversight of new client programs and maintenance, development, and ongoing structure.

The company was founded to accredit and monitor third party certifiers operating certification program to social standards.

In addition to managing client relationships, the BSCI/SA8000 Freelancer Project Manager develops internal and external client procedures, coordinates test pilots and maintains contact with the client. For current and ongoing projects, the Project Manager also assists with complaints management and analysis of relevant data including certification and nonconformity data. Based on experience and technical expertise, the Project Manager duties may be expanded to include some aspects of accreditation auditing and technical program management.

Responsibilities:
• Implementation of the BSCI module primary production in metal products
• Update and maintain Client internal and external procedures
• Disseminate and track Project-related information
• Coordinate data collection and analysis
• Create and implement work plan for Project-related work
• Track and monitor Client related activity
• Create and coordinate drafting of new procedures for clients
• Coordinate, manage and convene Workshops, Committees and Trainings
• Identify & follow-up potential member companies with specific interest in primary production
• Management of the BSCI Working Group Primary Production

Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years work in related field
• Familiarity with social compliance standards
• Technical experience and expertise in certification and/or accreditation systems
• Auditing experience in SA8000 and ISO 9001-based systems
• Graduate training desirable SA8000 auditor training and ISO management systems training
• Dynamic and open personality with good communication skills
• Professional experience in a testing company or similar indispensable
• Good writing, presentation and organizational skills in English language
• Good knowledge of Microsoft products
• Ability to manage multiple activities and projects simultaneously and independently
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Willing to work 6 Days a week (48 hours)

Compensation:
The Consulting Fee will be competitive, commensurate with experience
The work place location is Wenzhou, Zhejiang in the E&T Development Zone
