About the job

Working under a contract with GFA, and as part of an international technical assistance team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of a technical assistance project for a leading Chinese bank in the field fo SME and microfinance banking.

Tasks/Responsibilities:

In providing banking advisory to the financial institution the consultant will continuously assess the target's clients demand for financial services and on that basis develop, implement and adjust new and existing banking products;
After the testing of the products in pilot branches, support the technical assistance team with the role out of the new banking products.

Skills/qualifications/experience:

University degree or similar qualifications;
At least 5 years experience in Chinese banking and finance(consulting and SME lending experience highly desirable);
International study or work experience is a definite plus;
Excellent command of oral and written English; Chinese mother tongue;
Interpretation experience is a definitive plus;
Very good communication skills;
Team Player.
